Assignment 2: Portfolio Presentation (Suggested Weighting 15%)

Similar to your portfolio presentation in FIN1015, with the approval of your teacher, this assignment could be presented orally, as an essay, in a PowerPoint® presentation, or in another format. In any case, you must include examples of your work. Please check with your teacher for details regarding submitting the assignment for assessment.

A Portfolio Presentation Rubric is available for you to use as a checklist. This rubric is also available in the Toolkit.

Revisit Project 1: Training Rooms 1 to 6, as well as Assignment 1 in Project 2.

Select examples from your practice and assignment work that best represents your understanding of Accounting Cycle 1. The purpose of this presentation is to

• showcase your knowledge to a prospective employer
  
  
• showcase your knowledge to a potential post-secondary institution
  
  
• provide you with a reference to assist in future Financial Management courses

You must exhibit an understanding of each of the documents that you present, as well as the logical order of the necessary steps in the Accounting Cycle.
