ASSIGNMENT (100 marks)

Open a new Word document. Label it E101U3L4surname 
In this document, insert the URL for your Thinglink and your deconstruction for your collage.
Submit this assignment using the Dropbox for U3L3 hero project

You are going to create an interactive collage for your hero.

  • Use Photos for Class or your own photos to illustrate your collage.
  • Create your collage using PicMonkey .
  • Once you have created your collage, use Thinglink to make it interactive.
  • Watch the tutorial on this page for how to use both tools. You will have to scroll down the page, a bit, to find the tutorial.

Your Hero Thinglink must include the following:

  • your DEFINITION of "hero"
  • WHO your hero is
  • WHAT your hero has done
  • WHEN / WHERE your hero lives(d)
  • WHY this person is important to you, that is, how has he or she made a difference in your life
  • HOW you are going to attempt to emulate this person in your life

Be sure to have your images and video ready to go BEFORE you credit your Thinglink, as you cannot edit it once you have saved.

Your collage must contain at least FOUR images.  Your Thinklink must contain at least ONE interactive element per image, for a total of at least FOUR interactive elements - text, quotations, video, etc.

When you have completed your interactive collage, copy the URL into your Word document.
In this Word document, write a deconstruction that explains why you

  • selected the collage format that you did
  • chose EACH image
  • chose EACH interactive element
  • You may provide further information about your hero in this deconstruction document if you find it difficult to include it all in your Thinglink.
