Unit 4 Lesson 2 Formative Forum
Since you completed your CHECKLIST for Unit 3 Lesson 1, you are ready to prove to one of the classmates an outcome that no one else has shown yet.
To receive full marks follow the following procedure:
a) Post a new forum and indicate which outcome (found in the bottom) you are showing that no one else has done yet. (1 mark)
b) Make up a question about this outcome (1 mark)
c) Show the detailed solution with explanations of each step to obtain your final solution (5 marks)
You can submit this to the class either through any of the following formats: video/text/paper & pencil.
d) Once you are done with your post, you need to comment on another student in the class and observe if they completed the solution correctly and if it is correct the solution state this, but if it is not then correct their solution (3 marks).
-describe and compare the behaviour of ideal gases in terms of kinetic molecular theory
-describe and compare the behaviour of real gases in terms of kinetic molecular theory-illustrate how Boyleβs and Charlesβs laws, individually and combined, are related to the ideal gas law (PV = nRT)
-perform calculations, based on the ideal gas laws, under STP, SATP and other defined conditions
-calculate the quantities of reactants involved in chemical reactions, using gas stoichiometry
-calculate the quantities of products involved in chemical reactions, using gas stoichiometry
