Actions for Citizenship

Citizenship is a term that can have different meanings to different people. Generally, citizenship means that a person has the right to live in a certain country and to enjoy all the benefits of living within the country.

Being a Canadian citizen means that you have many rights such as the right to live in Canada, to travel freely within the country, and to express your opinions. In a few years, you will have the right to vote in elections that determine your government.

In return for the rights and freedoms Canadians are granted, citizens are also expected to demonstrate "good" citizenship.
