In this Unit 4 Discussion Forum, we will be discussing Japanese pop culture based on the Unit 4 video, the Cultural Sidebars and your own personal experience.
Here are some points that you can address in your response. Please feel free to add any other comments or questions you may have related to Japanese pop culture!
1. Did you learn anything new about Japanese pop culture? If so, what surprised you or interested you?
1.A. Are there any events or activities you would like to experience yourself?
2. Talk about your personal experience with Japanese pop culture. Do you watch anime? Read manga? What Japanese movies? If so, which ones? How did you find out about them? What do you like about those particular shows/books/movies?
3. What do you think about Cosplay and Cosplay conventions? Have you ever done Cosplay before? If you could, which character do you think you would want to be?
