Unit 3 Lesson 1 Formative Forum
Since you completed your CHECKLIST for Unit 3 Lesson 1, you are ready to prove to one of the classmates an outcome that no one else has shown yet.
To receive full marks follow the following procedure:
a) Post a new forum and indicate which outcome (found in the bottom) you are showing that no one else has done yet. (1 mark)
b) Make up a question about this outcome (1 mark)
c) Show the detailed solution with explanations of each step to obtain your final solution (5 marks)
You can submit this to the class either through any of the following formats: video/text/paper & pencil.
d) Once you are done with your post, you need to comment on another student in the class and observe if they completed the solution correctly and if it is correct the solution state this, but if it is not then correct their solution (3 marks).
- predict the product(s) of a chemical reaction based upon the reaction type- recall the balancing of chemical equations in terms of atoms, molecules and moles
- contrast quantitative and qualitative analysis
- write balanced ionic and net ionic equations, including identification of spectator ions, for reactions taking place in aqueous solutions
- calculate the quantities of reactants and/or products involved in chemical reactions, using solution stoichiometry.
- analyze the chemical reactions involved in various industrial and commercial processes and products that use stoichiometric and chemical principles
