This assignment has 3 parts. You are going to prepare a cover letter and resumé, as well as complete an oral interview. We have outlined specific completion guidelines and provided resources to assist you. The skills you develop by completing these tasks will help you achieve future career aspirations.

Unit 3's Connect Post required you to find a student appropriate job, posted on a website or job board. If you missed the Connect Post, please go back and complete it now.

Next, you will complete all parts of this assignment as if you were going to apply for that job. Complete each part by referencing current & relevant skills, experiences, and schooling.

We have provided several cover letter and resumé templates and resources that will assist you. Review the templates and decide if you wish to use one of those provided. If you already have a current resumé and cover letter you can modify it accordingly, add the content to one of the templates provided, OR choose your own format. Regardless of your choice, the content in your resume & cover letter should include the information in the checklist/marking guide we have provided.

PART C: MOCK INTERVIEW

Next, you will complete a mock interview, using the questions below. You may enlist the help of a friend, parent, teacher, or anyone to act as the interviewer. You will submit a video or audio file of this interview. Another alternative is to complete the mock interview with your CALM teacher. To complete this task with your CALM teacher, please arrange a scheduled phone call.

Your teacher will be looking for how you present yourself and how you answer the questions. Practice and be prepared.

Requirement: Your interview responses must indicate that you have researched the company to which you are applying.
