Your passion can change over time. Just because you are doing something you love right now, does not mean you cannot do something different later in life. For many of you, high school graduation is around the corner. Chances are that for years, people in your life have been asking you, "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
It is also likely that your answer has changed many times as you have grown older and as your interests have shifted. Don’t be afraid to pursue what you are passionate about right now. This may mean splitting your time between New Zealand and Banff during the year if you want to be a ski instructor. Or it may mean going off to university if you want to study geology. Not everyone is going to have the same career path, and that is just fine. If you are doing something that you feel good about, and it is not harming those around you, then you probably will not regret your decision.
