Submitting Assignments and Documents
Click the + to open a section.
You can drag and drop your assignment file into the box where indicated or you can select the paper with a plus sign icon to browse your computer files.

If you chose the paper with the plus sign, you need to click on the "Choose File" button on the next screen to access your files. You can also change the name of your file here. Click on "Upload this file".

Click "Save Changes"

Click "Submit Assignment."

NOTE: If you do not click this button, your assignment will remain in draft form and your teacher will not be able to see it.
Click "Continue"

If you've done this correctly, your submission will say "Submitted for grading" and be highlighted green instead of yellow:
It is recommended that you complete your assignments on the original assignment pages. You can download these assignments by navigating to Student Resources (after Unit D) or order copies when you register for the course.

Please name your file in the following format for lesson assignments:
For example, if my name was Nancy Drew and I was submitting the first assignment, the file name would be nancy_drew_A1_science30

Submitting work through the mail can add weeks to you receiving feedback and may slow your learning process. Online submissions typically are marked within three business days of being received with some variance at busier times of the year.

Newer scanners, printers that scan, and photocopiers often are set to scan pages individually to PDF. If your scanner can scan only individual pages, use one of the following programs on the Multiple PDF into a Single Document Tab.

- Check your scan afterwards and make sure every page with work is present, no work is cut off, and that all pages are readable.

- Email the scanned file to yourself as a PDF file. Do not email to your teacher unless you have made previous arrangements.
- Using a computer, access your email to retrieve the scanned file.
- Submit the file into the course submission page.
Access the user manual for the scanner you are using.

The Adobe Pro program is a paid program; the PDF exchange view is a free program.
Option 1: PDF Exchange Viewer
- Download a free version of PDF Exchange Viewer.
- Open Exchange Viewer, and open the first scanned page of the document. (Double click, and then choose the first scanned page.)
- Go to the “Document” menu and select “Insert Pages”.
- Select “Source” as “From File”, then choose the next scanned page to combine.
- Click OK.
- Repeat this step for each page.
- Save the file using the correct filename for your course, such as Drew, Nancy 1.1 Math10C.
- Upload the single PDF file to the submission page for marking.
Option 2: Adobe Acrobat Pro
Check the programs on your computer because you may have this program already as part of another software package.
- Purchase and install Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Open Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Under “Getting Started”, choose “Combine Files into PDF”.
- Open the folder where the files are saved.
- Drag the files into the “Combine Files” box.
- Arrange the files in order in the file box (drag into place).
- Click “Combine Files”.
- Save the file using the correct filename for your course, such as Drew, Nancy 1.1 Math10C.
- Upload the single PDF file to the submission page for marking.
After you have created your pdf files for your assignment and it is stored on your computer, click the "Add Submission" button on the assignment submission page:
