Wrap Points

A wrap point is any exposed machine part that rotates.

Examples of wrap point hazards are power take-off (PTO) and secondary shafts, post-hole diggers, augers, and blades on manure spreaders.

Never perform maintenance or repair on a machine that is running.

Don't wear loose-fitting clothing.

Don't stand near the moving parts of a machine that is running.
