Outcome 1

Describe the organizational structure of the tourism sector and the roles of the various organizations
Outcome 1.1 discuss the use of the terms industry and sector related to the organizational structure of tourism
Outcome 1.2
identify and define the five industry groups of the tourism sector by:
Outcome 1.2.1
identifying the original eight sectors: transportation; accommodation; food and beverage; meetings, events and conferences; attractions; adventure tourism, recreation and ecotourism; travel trade; tourism services
Outcome 1.2.2discussing reasons for the changes made in relation to the eight sectors becoming five industries
Outcome 1.3define the following terms:
