People travel for a variety of reasons: to escape, explore, understand, and participate. At the root of the experience lies the destination, the place that gives something to the traveller to keep forever and share with others.

A tourism buzz term today is that tourists want an experience. But remember, destinations can only provide the opportunity for an experience. Every tourist is different with their own past and expectations.  With proper knowledge, the destination, however, has the opportunity to increase the possibility of a positive experience.

So how do tourists choose where exactly they will go when they, literally, have the world at their disposal?
