Introduction to Short Noting

Important Information About Short Noting
Keeping good short notes of important information is key to your success in this course. For Units 1 and 2, you will be provided with short note worksheets to guide you in short noting the necessary important information. For Unit 3, you do not need to short note course terminology, but you will need to use your learned short noting skills to annotate your novel as you read through it.

Short notes will be completed as you work through the course. Watch for the yellow pencil image below, as it will be on every short note taking page! Please download the short note work pages for each course section when directed. Complete these short notes in parts as per the guiding instructions throughout the units that tell you when you need to add to them. Once the short notes for a particular section of the course has been completed, you will be directed to upload your completed short notes to the following submission pages:

Unit 1 Section 1 will be submitted to the 1.6 assignment submission page.
Unit 1 Section 2
will be submitted to the 3.6 assignment submission page.
Unit 2 Section 1
will be submitted to the 4.6 assignment submission page.
Unit 2 Section 2
will be submitted to the 5.1 assignment submission page.

All course short notes will be evaluated for completion and accuracy and will be valued out of 10 possible marks. These short notes will become your reference notes as you proceed through the course, and your study notes will be necessary to help you to prepare for exams.
