How Should We Absorb Poetry?
As you listen to this video, consider to what the poem is obviously being compared, and who is being considered the addressee of the poem. Focus on the idea that
there are three important parts to successful poetry: the creator, the poem text itself, and lastly, the connecting life experiences brought forth by the reader. Each of these three components plays a part in the successful communication of a poem.
