Exam One - Midterm Exam Study Guide
Completion requirements
Time to Study!
Exam One is based on the content and learning in Unit 1 of your English 10-2 course. This exam is designed to be completed in 2 hours, but pending approval of your supervisor and prior arrangement, you may be able to have up to 4 hours. This
exam is worth 15% of your course mark.
You must bring your Sightlines 10 text book, and you are encouraged to bring a dictionary, thesaurus, and an approved writer's handbook.
You will not be asked specific details about the texts you have studied in the course. Instead the skills and knowledge you have gained studying the course texts will be applied to new material. You do need to review all assignment work including both formative (practice) and summative (work for real marks), and all teacher feedback to remind you of the course concepts. Call your teacher for assistance if you find you have questions. Remember, now is the time to ask any questions you may have, and not later, when you are in a room writing your exam!
