Exploring Visuals


Visual literacy is more important in today's world than ever before! Visuals have always been a major means of communication in our world, and now with the internet becoming part of our every day lives, we are exposed to visual communication on a much larger scale. We must learn to understand, make meaning of, and communicate through visual means, now, more than ever, as we embrace our world of multimedia. In this section of the course you will learn that visual creators, like text creators, use very intentional and purposeful techniques to create their visual texts. Visual messages do not "just happen." As any fine art, they are carefully crafted!
