Reflection as You Begin
English 10-4
Throughout this course, you will be asked to do some thinking about yourself and what you are learning. These will be called Reflections. There are no marks for the Reflections, instead you will receive a Complete/Incomplete from your teacher.
It's a dream until you write it down, and then it's a goal.
For this first Reflection, think about what you would like to achieve in English 10-4 this year.
It is important to set goals when you begin something new. Goal setting is a process for thinking about what you want to achieve. Setting goals helps you choose what you want to do and think about how you will get there.

After your teacher has looked at your Goal Setting Form, keep it with your Language Arts materials. Look it over throughout the year with your teacher to see how you are doing. (It might be a good idea to look at your goals at the end of each LA theme.) You will return to it when you have finished the course to see if you have reached your goals.
Oh, the places you'll go,
Today is your day!
Your mountain is waiting,
So...get on your way!
