Do you see your bedroom, your backyard, or the aerial view of your farm property? Do you see the streets of your city? Where did your world "begin"?

Canadian novelist Margaret Laurence grew up in the small Manitoba town of Neepawa and, despite the fact that she lived all over the world in places as exotic as Africa, her most famous work is based on that same small town. She never really thought of anywhere else as being home to her, even though she spent most of her time in Ontario.
