Writing a Critical Response Essay

You have already written a Personal Response Essay and now you will tackle writing a Critical Response.  The Critical Response is different from the Personal Response in that you will be focusing only on the text you are writing about, and will not be discussing your personal experiences.  You should not use “I” in a Critical Response.
