In this course you are going to create and customize digital presentations. You will have your choice of software - Microsoft Powerpoint, Google Slides, etc. Your teacher will need to be able to read the document so please check with them first if you are planning on using anything else.


You will have a  Marks Checklist of competencies set by Alberta Education. The final assessment will consist of completing the Marks Checklist and then completing a phone interview your teacher where you will review your completed checklist.


You will choose EITHER option A  or B : (You will find the download links on the Final Assessment for either Word or Google)


Option A   

You may already be working on a presentation for a specific class, for example, Social Studies or English. Using your own presentation, you will go through the Marks Checklist provided to ensure all competencies are addressed. There may some items that are not required for your Social or English assignment and therefore you will need to be creative and add something that allows you to complete the checklist.

Option B

You don't have another presentation that you are working on and you will need to build a working copy from scratch. We have provided guidance for you in the Marking Sheet for Option B.
