Management Functions

When a company shapes its organization, it is following a process similar to organizing any kind of event.


Refer to the following four activities that are necessary.

  1. Organizing
  2. Controlling
  3. Planning
  4. Leading

Whether a business is just starting or is implementing an objective or a goal, these four steps are very important. Business goals are general statements about the future of the business. Business objectives are the specific steps to achieve the business goals. These four steps are referred to as management functions.
