3.3.1.2e Developing Countries

What is the responsibility of a corporation regarding exporting and importing with a developing country or establishing a business there? Should it be concerned primarily with the profit that can be made or should it be concerned with fair wages and working conditions for the employees? In an attempt to gain investment and jobs for their people, some countries ignore exploitation of workers or pollution of the environment. Do businesses have a moral responsibility to ensure these organizations within these countries are behaving ethically before doing business within those countries?
