Summary

This unit considered the intermediaries involved in distribution. Some supply chains are very direct. Their distribution channels don't require wholesalers, agents, and retailers. Other supply chains are complex, with numerous intermediaries and facilitating agencies involved. The complexity depends on the product, the resources available to the channel members, and producer preferences.
