Many Canadians recognize that land is more than just a platform for the
raw materials needed to produce goods. The land is part of an ecosystem
that must be considered as a whole to ensure a sustainable future.
Think about this...
Is water a renewable or a non-renewable resource?
When water is used carefully, treated and released according to best practices, it is a renewable resource. If not, it becomes non-renewable at that location. For example, when groundwater is removed from an aquifer at a greater rate than its
natural recharge, it is considered non-renewable.
