The modern dental office has a dental team. The office manager is responsible for the office finances. The receptionist arranges the appointments. The dental assistant takes the x-rays, and the dental hygienist cleans teeth. This team allows the dentist more time to complete complex work that requires greater skill. The simpler tasks are divided among many workers, each worker doing one job well.
