When learning about Psychological Hazards, it's important to know that:

  • Psychological Hazards affect the mental well-being or mental health of the worker
  • Psychological Hazards are only now being recognized as potential workplace hazards
  • Psychological Hazards usually occur because of interactions with others




 

  • Work-related stress.

  • Deadlines or sales targets.

  • Harassment in the workplace.

  • Stress from personal life (e.g., divorce, moving, death) 

  • Technological changes.

  • Fatigue and hours of work.

  • Working alone.
