Lesson 4.6 - Mountain Breezes
Lesson 4.6 - Mountain Breezes
Mountain breezes are another breeze you will learn about in this lesson.Â
Read Did You Know on page 95 in your textbook.
Thunderstorms were also mentioned in Did You Know. Large, deep oceans or lakes take a long time to warm even slightly. They also take a long time to cool. Shallow lakes can warm up fairly quickly and cool down quickly because there is far less water to absorb or release heat. The rapid transfer of heat and moisture creates violent thunderstorms.
