Lesson 3.2: Fixed and Moveable Pulleys

View the following two movies "Pulley Power" and "Two Pulley Systems".

A fixed pulley does not mean one that has been repaired. It means a pulley that is attached to an immovable surface.  The pulleys on a clothesline are attached to the house and a pole and are fixed pulleys. A moveable pulley is one that moves with the load and is attached to the load in some way.
