Look closely at your hand. It has many specialized cells and tissues. Skin, fingernails, and hair are visible. Under the skin are muscles, tendons, bones, nerves, and blood vessels. Each of these tissues is made up of specialized cells. Plants also have specialized cells and tissues.Â
