Completion requirements
Textile Arts 1
There comes a time in a person's life when he or she begins thinking about a potential career opportunity, trying something new, or enhancing a hobby. Textile Arts 1 is an introduction to exploring various yarn or textile art techniques. Students will apply skills during project assembly.
In this course you will encounter storytelling through video. Storytelling is a connection between people, we become part of a community when we listen and acknowledge these stories. These stories will give us insight into people's journeys as they stitch through life.
Video
Textile Arts 1
In this course you will encounter story telling.
Take time to listen to the many stories that occur throughout this course. You will hopefully become a part of a community that finds importance in the listening and acknowledgement of the story and the storyteller.
Remember we all have a story.
Protocol
Personal stories have been told in this course, and in telling these stories certain protocols have been followed. Using proper protocol means following the customs of the people or community.
Protocols exist as standards of behavior used by people to show respect to one another. Being open minded you can integrate and learn
protocols and the essence behind why they are important.
