Macramé Techniques
Lark's Head Knot
This is a way to start your macramé project. You can use the lark's head knot to attach cords to objects such as clasps, rings, or another cord.
The lark’s head knot is a mounting knot used to tie the knotting cords to a support, such as a length of cord, a dowel or a ring. A series of lark’s head knots form a definite horizontal ridge. To tie a lark’s head knot, fold a cord in half. Place
the loops in front of the dowel. Bring the loops back and under the dowel. Put both ends through the loop and pull it tight.
