Needle and Pin Safety

Needles and pins are available in a variety of sizes and styles. Practice safety when handling these small items.

• Never put pins in your mouth.


• Store pins and needles in a pin cushion.


• Avoid working with pins and needles in rooms with carpet. They are hard to see and find. You do not want to step on one.


• Remove all broken pieces of machine needles completely from the unplugged machine.
