Other Safety Rules

Sewing can be so rewarding and fun! Do not mar your sewing experiences with a preventable accident. Practise safety at all times.

• Keep open drinks and other liquids at a safe distance from all electrical equipment.


• Never walk with bare or stocking feet in areas where sewing is being done.


• Work in an organized manner. Do not allow others to distract you.


• Open a window when using quilt sprays or adhesives. If there is no window, move to a well-ventilated area.

Practice safety at all times!
