It is 3:20 p.m. You're running a little late and not sure you can get to a job interview scheduled for 3:30 p.m. The light turns green, you see the vehicles in front of you start to move so you press on your car's accelerator. You don’t like the song that is playing, so you lean over to change the ... CRASH! While your attention was on your car radio, the cars ahead of you stopped to let a deer cross the road. You have just caused a rear-end collision. Did you know that motor vehicle collisions injure or kill many thousands of people every year? By learning about the science behind safety and about driver and road safety, you might be able to save your life β€” or someone else’s.
