Regardless of where you live in Alberta, you will have some form of local government. In this activity, you will learn about the municipal government in your region. This may be a city, a town, a village or hamlet, a municipal district or county, an improvement district, or a reserve. Perhaps you live in a region that is designated as a special area.

government in your region. You may use the Internet, interview a
reliable person, go to your local government office, or use some
combination of these methods. You may also access your own municipal government website to find information.
