Introduction to Theme 1:

Understanding numbers

Math is used constantly in our lives: at home, in the community, at your part-time job. β€œWhen will I use this math?” is a question often asked by students wondering how topics like factorization and finding factors and multiples will play a role in their lives.

However, often without realizing it, we use math in day-to-day activities like making purchases at the store, tracking phone minutes, and even cooking and baking.

Watch this video to see how math is everywhere.

In this theme, you will increase your understanding of numbers and see how this understanding is used in everyday situations.
