Lining

Linings are often used in home decorating projects such as in curtains, quilts, and placemats. A lining will cut down on the amount of light filtering through the window, protect the decorator fabric from sun deterioration, and add a softer, fuller look.

Care requirements of the lining must be similar to the decorator fabric as both will be cleaned together.
