Having a solid understanding of numbers is very important in your daily life. Without good number sense, it can be difficult to do basic everyday activities, such as finding the best price online or at the store, buying furniture that fits into your home, borrowing, saving, or investing for a car, vacation, or for college.

In this theme, you will develop and demonstrate an understanding of whole numbers, decimals, fractions, mixed numbers, and percents and apply arithmetic operations to solve everyday problems.

This theme includes seven lessons:
