How would you like to add a series of the number eight? How about adding a series for the number of bolts you need to fix a car? What if you needed enough to fix 23 cars? What would you do? That is a lot of addition!

What about if you had 30 cars you needed to fix. You know that you have 1,200 bolts on hand and that each car will need 40 bolts. You need to find out if you have enough bolts to fix all of the cars. That's a lot of subtraction!

Fortunately, you can use multiplication and division to make these tasks much easier!
