Key Concepts 

  • Identifying electrical hazards in the home, school or workplace are important to workplace safety practices

  • In addition to identifying electrical hazards, it's also important to know how to prevent or control those hazards.
  • Part of preventing electrical hazards is tagging or locking out equipment.
  • All workers should be familiar with the standards and legislation associated with electrical safety.
