There are many perspectives on what it means to be a citizen. For some people it means following the laws, helping the neighbour and voting. For others, it means helping to protect the environment and for still others, it means taking an active role in protesting or acting to support what they believe in.
In this unit, you will look what it means to be a citizen of planet Earth.
In the critical challenge for this unit, you will choose one human rights issue, complete some research on it, decide on an action that will lead to change, and write a letter to your Member of Parliament or Member of the Legislative Assembly.
