Lesson 12:

Health and Food


The food we eat gives our body the materials they need to function properly. If we don't get the right materials, our metabolic processes suffer and our health declines.


If we get too much food or the wrong types of food, we can become overweight, undernourished, and at risk for the development of diseases. In short, what we eat is central to our health. In this lesson, you will learn about how good health can be a result of the food you eat.
