Assignments

Downloading Assignment Files

The downloadable files in Language Arts 9 are accessible from the first page of each lesson. Be sure your computer permits you to use these files.

Your courses will work best in the Firefox  or  browsers.
Please download one of these browsers if you have not done so.

To download assignment files on an ipad, click and hold on a link until a pop up appears. Click "Open in New Tab."

You will be unable able to submit your document from an ipad.

Saving Your Work

Please keep all your assignments in your labelled folders (Unit 1, Unit 2, Unit 3, Unit 4, Unit 5, Unit 6) in a Language Arts Folder on your Desktop or in Google Drive or other memory device.

Name your files with your own name.  Example: If your name is David Smith, you would enter the name of your file as (DSmith)la9-1-1.

Your teacher will be unable to open lessons submitted in Pages format. Please save your file in Word format (.doc, docx, .rtf, .wps) etc.  Click the pulldown menu "Save as Type", and choose "Word document." Most Word formats will work.

PLEASE NOTE: Communication in emails, on assignments, or with other students must be respectful and use appropriate tone at all times.

Read all instructions and criteria carefully before you construct your response.

The coloured row below is an example of what you will find in each Lesson when you are at the end and should be preparing to submit your work.
