What is Jargon?

Jargon is technical language specific to a certain subject.
Often, such terms are difficult for others to understand.
The specific focus of research essays requires the use of technical terms. However, you need to make sure the words you use are clear to your reader, so you may want to incorporate some kind of explanation.
Examples:
- Acceleration and velocity are two specific terms referring to physical properties in science about speed and rate of change.
- Binomials , algebraic equations , quadratic equivalences, and algorithms are mathematical terms referring to specific mathematical operations.
