Storyboarding

Storyboarding is a planning process in film and TV production of all events and elements that make film and TV magic. This organization of film elements within each scene is essential to keep filming expenses affordable.

Storyboards include a director's plan for lighting, action, dialogue, and the general effect of a shot and how it relates to the plot. Anyone who refers to the storyboard will see how, in film, events and actions of a complex storyline should and will appear when filmed.

Storyboard structure ranges from very simple to complex in video game production, comic/graphic novel production, and drama productions.
