1. Watch the video, "What does it mean to you to be Canadian?" to learn some reasons people are happy to call Canada home.
   
   
   • Start watching at 60 seconds and stop watching at 3:25.


2. Then, watch the video, "I Am Canadian". 


3. Listen and watch for identifying features such as words, names, and symbols that are unique to Canadians.
   
   While you watch the video, jot words that identify features of how Canadians classify themselves.
   


4. Consider the following questions while you watch the video. 
• How do we identify ourselves as Canadians?
• What kind of symbols, words, and names do you identify as Canadian?
• What do you know about Canada?
