How do you make decisions?
Think about some of the decisions you have to make.Does your family vote on things such as what movie to watch or what restaurant to go to for dinner? Do you belong to any groups or clubs where you are asked to vote on decisions? Have you ever had to make a decision by consensus (a decision made by a group agreeing completely)?
In Chapter 7, you will learn how Canada’s government was formed.
Government is a way societies organize themselves to make decisions and get things done.
