Downloading Assignment Files

The downloadable files in Language Arts 8 are Word documents on the first pages of lessons. Be sure your computer permits you to use these files.

Your courses will work best in the

browsers. Please download one of these browsers if you have not done so.

To download assignment files on an ipad, click and hold on a link until a pop up appears. Click "Open in New Tab."

You will be unable able to submit your document from an ipad.

Save Your Work

Please keep all your assignments in your labelled folders (Unit 1, Unit 2, Unit 3, Unit 4, Unit 5) in a Language Arts Folder on your Desktop or memory device.

Name your files with your own name.

Example: David Smith would enter the name of his file as DSMITHla8-1-1.

Please note your teacher will be unable to open pages format. Please save your file in Word format (.doc, docx, .rtf, .wps).

Click the pulldown menu "Save as Type", and choose "Word document." Most Word formats will work.

	When you have completed all parts of Assignment X, ... Be sure you have renamed your file (YOURNAME) la 8-X-X Upload the completed assignment into the Assignment X-X file on the next page
Check in two to three days to retrieve the marked assignment and review the feedback from your teacher.
