Have you ever imagined you were a traveler or an explorer?
As a child, Canadian poet Jan Conn traveled imaginatively with her father through the smells of the gifts he sent her. As a mining engineer, he traveled to many places around the world in search of exploration and mining development.
Since then, Jan Conn has rediscovered various places, peoples, and cultures in Guatemala, Venezuela, and Brazil. Her eight books of poetry can be read as kind of a travel writing.
