When we are young the wonders of life seem simple: Duck Duck Goose and other circle games, dragonflies in jars, the night sky, frozen streams, and merry-go-rounds.

In childhood, we have a freshness of vision where we open our eyes and ears. We take time to stop and wonder at the world around us.

Sometimes, however, we are so desperate to grow up to fulfill our dreams that we do not take time to be amazed by the wonderfully mysterious things around us.
